Becks founded The Joyful Summits Restorative Justice Center because of a passion for intervening with the sexual and domestic violence cycle from the perpetrator side. She has done extensive research on the disparities in treatment for this population.

Daniel Fishburn LCSW LISW-CP LCAS MAC CCS is an Asheville-based Clinical Social Worker and Substance Abuse Professional with over 35 years of experience in mental and public health. Through his work he has developed a strong awareness that we must serve both the victims of abuse and violence, as well as those who perpetuate it if we are to impact cycles over time.

Isabel "Bella" Rehak LCMHCA NPC CTP, brings over two decades of experience in behavioral healthcare to her role on the Board of Directors at Joyful Summits. Since beginning her career in 2003, Bella has been deeply committed to supporting individuals impacted by trauma, guiding them toward healing and sustainable change.

Lane Essex is a versatile freelance creative with a passion for helping mental health professionals turn their dreams into reality.

Nakia is guiding our fundraising strategy and long-term development efforts. She’s helping us design systems that not only support our work—but reflect the values we hold: community, care, and transformation.

At Joyful Summits, Kim will help consult on our curriculum development and guide our approach to grant funding so we can continue building a future rooted in healing.
